Dear Sirs,
I would first like to thank you for your service in representing the people of Idaho district 27, our values, beliefs, and rights. I am writing to implore you to continue to do just that. At this moment, you and your colleagues are in session to discuss, debate, and determine what new laws are necessary to securely and sovereignly govern the good people of Idaho. Your fellow member of congress, representative Heather Scott, is attempting to pass a bill known as the Abortion Human Rights Act (AHRA). As I’m sure you are aware, this bill would forever abolish the evil practice of abortion from our great state. As one of your constituents, I am asking you to lend your full support to this bill.
You have both taken an oath to uphold the constitution of the United States of America as well as the constitution of the State of Idaho. In both of these documents it is stated that everyone has the right to life and liberty. Our own Idaho code includes in its definition of murder the destruction of unborn life. There is no way around it, congressmen; the practice of abortion is murder in the eyes of God and man. The only difference is that our state’s government as well as the federal government gives full amnesty to those who contract and carry out these murders. I am asking you both to fulfill your oaths of office and uphold the constitution.
The state of Idaho is a sovereign state. We do not require the permission of a federal court in order to create laws. Their job is to enforce the laws that legislators like yourselves have written and passed. If the good citizens of Idaho can no longer expect their legislators to write and pass laws, I am forced to wonder what it is we pay you for?
You must be aware that the implications of the AHRA are numerous and far reaching. First and foremost, this is a black and white matter of righteousness vs. evil. Will you continue to give full support and aid to the destruction of human life? Will you continue to turn a blind eye to the holocaust against the most vulnerable members of society? I pray that you do not and stand for what is right.
Second, this is a state sovereignty bill. If we Idahoans cannot trust our legislators to ignore the gross injustice of a federal court concerning living and breathing human beings, why would we trust you concerning our other rights, rights of much lesser significance? If the federal courts demand that we turn in our firearms, will you support them? If the federal courts decide that we are no longer allowed to educate our children at home, will you defy them? If the federal courts no longer recognize our freedom to worship our God and creator because His laws contradict the whims of the courts, will you stand against them? How are we to know that you will uphold your oath on these lesser matters when you refuse to stand for the basic and inalienable right to life?
The people of Idaho want to trust you, sirs. How are we to know that we can?
The people of Idaho district 27 long for a day when babies are no longer murdered in the state of Idaho. Will you please represent those values, beliefs, and rights in Boise?
Your hopeful and prayerful constituent,
Andy de Ganahl
To the Citizens of the Sovereign State of Idaho,
If this open letter echoes your own concerns, then I am asking you to make your voice heard. If you are not a resident of district 27, then I encourage you to use these same words and send them to your own representatives. If you live in Cassia or Minidoka counties (district 27), then copy this, print this, and send this to your representatives in Boise, Scott Bedke and Fred Wood.

In the meantime, I ask you to pray that our Lord God would open the eyes of those who represent us, that He would grant them the ability to understand their complicit behavior in the evils of our culture, and that He would extend His saving grace upon them. Pray that our Lord Jesus Christ would be glorified in their decisions. Pray for the salvation of these men and women.
“First of all then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgiving, be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all, the testimony given at the propter time.” – 1 Timothy 2:1-6
“Seek the Lord that you may live, lest He break forth like a fire, O house of Joseph, and it consume with none to quench it for Bethel, for those who turn justice into wormwood and cast righteousness down to the earth.” – Amos 5:6-7
Citizens of Idaho, do not be silent!
